Ordered a vanilla funfetti cake with a custom design. Tasted wonderful and they were easy to communicate and order from. Good price too. Will return for more cakes!

I’m visiting from out of town and was staying right across the street from this bakery when I called to ask if they sold individual slices of lemon cake. She kindly explained that they’re usually booked out and primarily focus on weddings and large events, and even recommended another bakery down the street. But what really stood out is that she still went completely out of her way to help me. She invited me to stop by later and generously put together a few slices for me and my girlfriend — including two different types of lemon cake and a raspberry cake (which my girlfriend absolutely loved). And the cake itself… absolutely incredible. The lemon cake was so fresh and flavorful, the buttercream was smooth and perfectly sweet without being overpowering, and the lemon filling was bright, rich, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to go above and beyond for someone she didn’t have to help made our entire day. Ordered sheet cake for our wedding, white cake with mixed berry filling and carrot cake. Let me say that my husband and I loved both of them because they were so delicious, flavorful, moist, and just the right amount of sweet. Our guests finished the carrot cake and I was able to take home and eat the left over mixed berry cake myself and I can't wait to have more for other events. Also working with Lynn over email was easy with great response time!

We chose Takes the Cake to create our wedding cake because their cakes are so delicious and beautiful. Fast forward a few years, time for our first grandbaby's 1st birthday- All the kids insisted that we get a cake from them again. Takes the Cake is now our most delicious family tradition!
